Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using the services provided by Accounting SB, operated by Stefania Belcastro, CPA Alberta, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.

Services Provided

Accounting SB provides professional tax and financial services, including but not limited to:

• Corporate tax filing (T2 returns)
• Personal tax filing (T1 returns)
• Estate and trust tax services (T3 returns)
• Tax compliance and consulting
• CRA audit support and representation

Client Responsibilities

As a client, you agree to:

• Provide accurate, complete, and timely information necessary for tax preparation
• Review all tax returns and documents before signing or filing
• Maintain proper records and documentation as required by the CRA
• Pay for services in accordance with agreed-upon terms
• Notify us promptly of any changes to your financial or tax situation

Professional Standards

Stefania Belcastro, CPA Alberta, adheres to professional accounting standards and ethical guidelines established by CPA Alberta and relevant Canadian professional bodies. Our services are provided in accordance with CRA regulations and Canadian tax law. However, we cannot guarantee specific outcomes or results from tax filings or CRA interactions.

Fees and Payment

Service fees will be discussed and agreed upon before work begins. Payment terms include:

• Fees are based on the complexity and scope of services required
• Payment is typically due upon completion of services or as otherwise agreed
• Additional fees may apply for rush services or complex matters
• Late payment may result in interest charges or suspension of services

Confidentiality

We maintain strict confidentiality of all client information in accordance with CPA Alberta professional standards and applicable privacy laws. Client information will not be disclosed to third parties except as required by law, with client consent, or as necessary to provide agreed-upon services.

Limitation of Liability

While we exercise professional care and diligence in providing our services, we are not liable for losses or damages arising from information provided by clients, changes in tax laws, CRA decisions, or circumstances beyond our reasonable control. Our liability is limited to the fees paid for the specific service in question.

Termination of Services

Either party may terminate the service relationship with written notice. Upon termination:

• Clients remain responsible for payment of services rendered up to the termination date
• We will provide client records and documents upon request
• Confidentiality obligations continue after termination

Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from these terms or our services will be resolved through good faith negotiation. If negotiation fails, disputes will be subject to the laws of the Province of Alberta and resolved in the appropriate courts of Alberta.

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be effective upon posting to our website. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.
